Israel Adesanya reacted to Jon Jones being charged with domestic violence.

This week Jon Jones was arrested in Las Vegas and charged with battery domestic violence and injuring and tampering with a vehicle. Later it emerged that Jones was being accused of pulling the hair of his long-time fiancee and that police, who came to the scene after Jones’ son asked hotel security to call them, observed blood on Jones’ fiancee’s face and clothes.

The news of Jones’ latest arrest wasn’t met with surprise by UFC President Dana White. He said an incident like this was “almost expected” and that Jones has “a lot of demons”.

A number of fighters and other figures in MMA have also shared their reactions to Jones’ arrest.

Among those is current UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya, who has never shied away from attacking Jones online.

In his latest tweet addressing Jones, ‘The Last Stlyebender’ said, “I’m sure y’all will give him ‘one more chance’ lol.”

“I swear I said he’s gonna fuck up again,” continued Adesanya. “He can’t help it. Now here we are. I’ve made mistakes in my time, I learn from them. I don’t think this is the first time this has happened in his house.”

Adesanya tweeted that despite this being the first time Jones has ever been charged with domestic violence.

In a later tweet, Adesanya wrote “It’s called ‘Stockholm syndrome,’” referring to the phenomena when hostages form emotional bond with their captors.
