Whether it’s the lightweight title or BMF belt, Michael Chandler wants to jump the line and fight for UFC gold after his big McGregor fight on June 29th.

Everyone wants to know what Conor McGregor is going to do after he beats Michael Chandler at UFC 303. But “Iron Mike” plans on playing spoiler come June 29th, and then he’s moving forward for a UFC belt.

Chandler intends on ruining McGregor’s big comeback and maybe even pushing “The Notorious” into retirement with a dominant beatdown. And after that?

“Fighting at lightweight for the title or for the BMF belt are the opportunities I live for,” Chandler said in an interview with UFC.com. “This sport moves fast, and I would pounce on those opportunities.”

“When I do what I’m going to do to Conor, I am going to call out Islam or Poirier,” he said, referring to the winner of the lightweight title bout at UFC 302. “But I think Islam wins that fight. I think that’s an intriguing fight and it’s fresh. He’s fought all the guys except me.”

“But there isn’t an MMA fan alive that wouldn’t want to see me fight Holloway for the BMF belt because I embody that.”

One thing is for sure, though: Michael Chandler intends to make his mark at UFC 303 to the point where no one can stop him from picking his shot.

“I’m going beat Conor and I’m going to be undeniable,” he declared.
