Evangelista “Cyborg” Santos very recently injured
his shoulder and has been forced to withdraw from a fight with Paul
Daley at “Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Henderson.”
MMAjunkie.com confirmed the news today with a source
close to the fighter, who said the injury occurred when Santos shot for
a takedown in training and overextended his shoulder when a teammate
sprawled. The injury was first reported by MMAPrime.tv.
“Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Henderson” takes place July 30 at Sears Centre
in Hoffman Estates, Ill., and its main card airs live on Showtime.
