Irish fighter Conor ‘Notorious’ McGregor (13-2) has gotten his wish to compete in Boston with the announcement that he and English fighter Andy ‘The Little Axe’ Ogle (9-2) would square off in a featherweight bout this August as part of the upcoming UFC on Fox Sports 1: 1 event.
The bout was announced this afternoon by the promotion via Twitter (@UFC_Ireland).

UFC on Fox Sports 1: 1 is expected to take place on August 17, 2013 at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts.
McGregor made his Octagon debut just last month at UFC on FUEL TV 9 stopping opponent Marcus Brimage by first round TKO. The victory extended McGregor’s win streak to nine, all stoppages, as well as earned the Irish fighter the “Knockout of the Night” bonus. Before making his debut ‘Notorious’ won Cage Warriors FC lightweight title in December.
Ogle won his first match with the top promotion improving to 1-1 in the UFC. The English fighter fought last February in London, defeating Josh Grispi by decision. ‘The Little Axe’ lost his debut match by split decision to Akira Corassani in September of last year at UFC on FUEL TV 5.
