April Fool’s day is a day that usually means you trust no one and believe nothing you see or hear, especially on the internet. Well, more-so than any other day.

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) champ-champ, Conor McGregor, got in on the fun earlier today (April 1, 2019) by posting an ad which sees him promoting his next venture into the alcoholic beverage business.

Indeed, “Notorious” and his team spared no expense into fooling people he was actually getting into the wine business by introducing Champ Champ Rosé with an elaborate (yet cheesy) promo of Conor apparently selling his new product.

At the end of the ad, the real Conor stands up with a bottle of his Proper No. 12 Irish Whiskey in hand, much to the chagrin of wine lovers across the globe. The pronunciation of Champ-Champ, admittedly, is pretty funny.

McGregor once again caught the attention of the mixed martial arts (MMA) world last week after he abruptly announced his retirement from the sport. But that was apparently an early April Fool’s Day joke, too, as UFC president Dana White recently revealed that “Notorious” is in fact, not retired.

Just don’t say this “Cowboy” didn’t tell you first.
