Jake Paul is on the hunt for another over the hill mixed martial artist to embarrass in the ring, and he seems to believe Daniel Cormier qualifies.

Like a bunch of other people sitting around at home last Saturday night, former UFC double champ Daniel Cormier somehow found himself tuned into Triller’s Jake Paul vs. Ben Askren boxing sideshow. And like everyone else, he was pretty surprised at how easily Jake the YouTuber took out Askren the longtime professional athlete.

“Look at this. Oh my God. Oh my God,” Cormier said as he watched his buddy Ben get TKO’d. “Oh, this kid punched the s**t out of Ben, man. Come on, Ben. Come on Ben. You let this boy do you like that man? Come on man.”

“Somebody gotta do something about this Jake Paul, man,” he continued. “I guess he can pretend to be a fighter for a little while longer. They gonna have to give him somebody real now, right?”

“DC” continued that thought on Twitter, wondering if Paul would ever face a legit threat.

At this point, Cormier is fully sucked into the drama. He even chimed in on the footage of Tyron Woodley arguing with one of Jake Paul’s boxing coaches.

That led to Jake Paul calling for a double header: Paul vs. Cormier and Woodley vs. his coach J’Leon Love. All in the boxing ring, of course.

That’s the strange power Jake Paul has right now — everyone is calling him out and talking trash and he’s loving every minute of it. If we were Daniel, we’d just take a step back lest we have to deal with Paul’s fanbase for the next year or two.
