Jessica Eye lost her first fight inside the Octagon last weekend at UFC 170, but she did pass the recreational drug test she was asked to take after the fight.

According to Nevada Athletic Commission chairman Francisco Aguilar, Eye took a performance-enhancing drug test prior to her fight against Alexis Davis, as well as a recreational drug test. The results of the latter were negative, while the PED test results had yet to be returned to the NAC.

Aguilar also informed MMAFighting.com that both UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey and challenger Sara McMann passed their drug tests. The rest of the card was tested, however, like Eye, those tests had yet to be returned. Rousey defeated McMann via first-round TKO.

Eye tested positive for cannabinoids following her UFC 166 win over Sarah Kaufman in Houston last October. As a result, the win was overturned to a ‘no decision.’ The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) also issued Eye a $1,875 fine along with a one-year “fully probated suspension” retroactive to Jan. 22, 2014.

In order to get licensed for the fight in Nevada, Eye had to pass a drug test, which she did. She was then asked to take another set of tests before and after her fight.

Eye lost a split decision to Davis last Saturday night, dropping her record to 10-2.
