Joanna Jedrzejczyk says the swelling has gone down, but there’s still heavy bruising on her face and chest.
Joanna Jedrzejczyk sustained a pretty huge and nasty hematoma in her forehead after her 25-minute war with Weili Zhang at UFC 248. The former champion was recently seen with heavy discoloration on her face, and she has since given an update on her recovery a week after that instant classic of a title bout.
She seems to be in high spirits after getting back home, and states that while the swelling has gone down, the heavy bruising remains.
“Hello, guys. I made it home. I’m in Poland,” the former champion said on a video posted on Instagram. “I’m happy to be back home. I took a long shower, and unpacked some stuff.
“I’m having a small home spa. It’s a mud mask,” Joanna joked as she showed the discoloration of. “Of course I’m still having so many bruises on my face, on my chest. The swelling went down. I feel better, so we good! We good!”
