Twitter beef is always fun, isn’t it?
For former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight king Jon Jones, who is currently wrapped up in a battle with United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA), and former UFC heavyweight fighter Matt Mitrione, who can be found knocking out Bellator MMA’s finest these days, used Twitter to flex their mixed martial arts (MMA) muscles on Friday (Oct. 28, 2016)
It all started when Mitrione tweeted the following picture of a Jones doppelganger tending bar, stating that “Bones” has picked up a side job while awaiting his suspension:
To support his habit during suspension, apparently Jon Jones (he blocked me) picked up a cash job. Clever disguise Jon. pic.twitter.com/HzYHsknjil

Jones, who has been known to unleash fury via social media, gave “Meathead'” zero breathing room for his comment:
@mattmitrione I have more money in real estate then your net worth. You come out of nowhere talking shit, fuck off bro

Considering how closely Jones is followed by the MMA community these days, inciting a public Twitter isn’t that bad of an idea by Mitrione. But considering Jones would most likely make him pay if the two ever met inside of the cage, the heavyweight slugger better tread lightly.
