The Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC) hearing of interim UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones will not be going down this coming Monday as originally scheduled.

Executive director of the NAC, Bob Bennett, confirmed to MMAFighting.com on Wednesday that Jones’ team put in a formal request for a continuance on the hearing they had scheduled for October 10th.

Jones will be facing the NAC to determine the repercussions stemming from a test that came back positive for clomiphene and letrozol, two substances banned by UFC’s new Anti-Doping Policy overseen by USADA, prior to his originally scheduled UFC Light Heavyweight Championship unification match with Daniel Cormier at UFC 200 back in July.
