Following the announcement that Brock Lesnar will be fighting Mark Hunt at the landmark UFC 200 event next month, interim UFC Light Heavyweight Champion and UFC 200 headliner Jon Jones might have been more excited about the news than anyone else.
“Bones” Jones, who will enjoy profit participation in the UFC 200 mega-event in July, as his deal calls for him to earn a percentage of the profits earned from the pay-per-view sales of the event past a certain point, noted that Lesnar joining the card will likely result in “millions” of dollars being added to his purse.
Jones posted the following on his official Twitter account after hearing about the Lesnar announcement.
Well if you want me to be honest I'm wondering how many millions that added to my purse. #Redpantynight https://t.co/cBhXwzCRML

At UFC 200, Jones will look to unify the UFC 205-pound titles against current champion Daniel Cormier, who he defeated in his last Octagon appearance, but became the new Light Heavyweight champion when Jones was stripped of the title.
UFC 200: Cormier vs. Jones 2 is scheduled to go down live at the brand new T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday, July 9, 2016. Make sure to join us here at MMANews.com on 7/9 for the best UFC 200 live results coverage on the web!
