Jorge Masvidal Disappointed He Fought As A Boxer Rather Than As A Mixed Martial Artist

Former Strikeforce lightweight Jorge Masvidal felt he had a good fight with champ Gilbert Melendez this past Saturday night. ‘Gamebred’ expressed his disappointment that he failed to compete as a mixed martial artist, and instead fought as a boxer for all five rounds. Masvidal says that when he gets the chance to face Melendez again he’ll utilize his wrestling rather than his striking.
