vs. Werdum.”
Strikeforce officials today announced the matchup, which was previously reported by MMAjunkie.com.
“Strikeforce: Overeem vs. Werdum,” which features a heavyweight grand
prix bout between Strikeforce heavyweight champion Alistair Overeem and
grappling expert Fabricio Werdum, takes place June 18 at American
Airlines Center in Dallas and airs live on Showtime.
