The action spills into the boxing ring later today (Sat., Sept. 22, 2018) from inside Wembley Stadium in London, England, as WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and IBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (21-0, 20 KO) puts his undefeated record on the line against Russian knockout artist Alexander Povetkin (34-1, 21 KO).

In order to stay on top of the action and catch every punch, we’ve compiled all the necessary information for your viewing pleasure. Check out below for all the details for Joshua vs. Povetkin:

Who Is Fighting?

Anthony Joshua

It has been six months since we saw Joshua dismantle Joseph Parker in Wales to retain his heavyweight titles and pick up the WBO strap in the process. The undefeated 28-year-old champion looked slightly less aggressive in that bout, but he’ll look to return to his knockout ways tonight in London.

Remember, the last time we saw Joshua compete inside Wembley Stadium he knocked out Wladimir Klitschko in a wild heavyweight clash that put the English fighter’s name on the map. Povetkin is one of the more decorated fighters Joshua has ever faced so it will be interesting to see how dominant the young champion will remain.

Alexander Povetkin

Having only lost to Wladimir Klitschko throughout his 35-fight professional boxing career, Povetkin poses a serious threat to upset Joshua and turn the heavyweight world upside down. It will be his first stop over in London so expect a very hostile environment for the Russian veteran.

Coming off a knockout victory over David Price back in March, which coincidentally happened on the same card as Joshua’s win over Parker, Povetkin will look to rely on his punching power yet again tonight when he takes on a bigger and longer fighter in Joshua.

Will he have what it takes to get inside on Joshua and land some heavy shots? We shall see.
