Just a day after being named to this months UFC on FX 1 card, Ken Stone (10-3) has been forced to withdraw from an upcoming fight against Mike Easton due to injury.

Officials with the UFC promotion made the announcement via Twitter (@ufc) on Tuesday evening.

And one more injury to report – Ken Stone out of UFC on FX bout in Nashville – replacement TBD

UFC on FX: Guillard vs. Miller (aka UFC on FX 1) is scheduled to take place on January 20, 2012 at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. The event is headlined by a lightweight bout between Melvin Guillard and Jim Miller.

Easton is now without an opponent and will await the announcement of a new opponent. He has six wins in a row including winning his UFC debut this past summer at the UFC on Versus 5 show. At the Washington, D.C. event ‘The Hulk’ faced Byron Bloodworth in a 138-lbs catchweight bout after Bloodworth failed to make weight, taking the fight via second round TKO.

Stone (pictured) earned his first win in the Octagon last September by choking out opponent Donny Walker with a rear-naked choke in the first round of their UFN 25 bout. The win put Stone at 1-1 in the Octagon after debut in June at the “TUF 13 Finale”. At the Vegas event, Stone was stopped cold by Scott Jorgensen via knockout in the first round.
