The tide, it appears, has officially turned.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight champion, Khabib Nurmagomedov, has replaced former 155-pound kingpin, Conor McGregor, as the biggest global superstar in combat sports (thanks to this), while “Notorious” has been relegated to some chump selling liquor at the corner market.

That’s according to manager Ali Abdelaziz.

“Listen, the guy we just fought said he made $50M,” Abdelaziz told TMZ (via MMA Fighting). “I think, as a global superstar, Khabib bypassed him. You have a guy meeting with Putin and Erdogan and the other guy selling liquor on the corner store. It’s not even in the fucking same planet. Good for him. Whatever. It’s none of our business, he do what he does. We try to go to Africa, we try to do different things. It’s not even close.”

Maybe in Africa he can fight one of these monsters.

Nurmagomedov is enjoying his victory tour after submitting Conor McGregor in the UFC 229 main event to remain undefeated. Unfortunately for “The Eagle,” said tour will require another stop in Las Vegas to answer for his role in the post-fight melee that followed his Oct. 29 victory.

Speaking of planets, Nurmagomedov will not, in fact, have to go to Pluto for this super fight.
