Khabib spoke about Conor McGregor being more active on social media these days.
From talking smack to other fighters, to calling out Hollywood actors, Conor McGregor has been fighting more battles on Twitter than inside the Octagon these days. Khabib Nurmagomedov quickly pointed out that fact when McGregor responded to one of his tweets.
The exchange started when Nurmagomedov spoke about his reported return in the next few months. McGregor took the opportunity to reply about the post-fight brawl, and Khabib’s massive fine from Las Vegas.
“You got your money took and your brothers eye socket shook when you fought me you little rat,” McGregor wrote. “Viva Las Vegas baby the gaf always wins.”

This is where Khabib responded about McGregor’s supposed retirement, going from MMA fighter to a Twitter warrior.
“Money comes and goes, the honor that you lost that evening will never return, live with it,” Khabib replied. “Finish career in mma, but start career on twitter? #twitterWarrior”

According to Dana White, Khabib will return this September. He’s likely to face the winner of the interim lightweight title bout between Max Holloway and Dustin Poirier.
