Rising middleweight prospect Brendan Allen proved his divisional worth yet again earlier tonight (Sat., Feb. 29, 2020) at UFC Fight Night 169 live on ESPN+ from inside Chartway Arena in Norfolk, Virginia, when he steamrolled English standout Tom Breese via first-round TKO (elbows and punches).

Despite being the better fighter on the feet, Breese opted to try and take Allen down early. Allen was able to quickly reverse and landed a brutal right hand form top position that rocked Breese. Allen saw his window of opportunity and piled on heavy punches and elbows until the referee stepped in to save Breese.

With this performance, Allen scores his second-straight UFC win after making a successful debut back in October when he submitted Kevin Holland. “All In” is only 24 years of age and is already showing signs of a future contender. He’ll look to land a rematch with middleweight fighter Trevin Giles sometime this summer in effort to avenge his first pro loss from 2016.
