Undefeated lightweight prospect Ottman Azaitar made the most out of his unexpected co-main event billing earlier tonight (Sat., Sept. 12, 2020) at UFC Vegas 10 live on ESPN+ from inside UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, when he bulldozed through red-hot veteran Khama Worthy via first-round TKO (punches).
After a brief feeling out period it was Azaitar who was able to land the first significant strikes, connecting with a combination that left Worthy staggering backwards. As Azaitar moved in for more Worthy bit down on his mouthpiece and both fighters exchanged heavy punches. Azaitar was just a little bit tighter with his shots and had the clear power advantage which didn’t bode well for “Deathstar.” Worthy eventually went down and Azaitar’s ground-and-pound ended the fight for good.

With this performance, Azaitar extends his professional record to 13-0 while locking down his 10th career finish by way of knockout (two as a member of UFC). The 30-year-old fighter may not be a prospect anymore and with this tremendous co-main event showing he may be in store for an even bigger fight his next time out.
