Heavyweight contender Tai Tuivasa scored another impressive finish earlier tonight (Sat., Mar. 20, 2021) at UFC Vegas 22 live on ESPN/ESPN+ from inside UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nev., when “Bam Bam” clobbered short-notice replacement Harry Hunsucker with a quick first-round TKO (punches).
Tuivasa didn’t waste time and blasted Hunsucker with nasty leg kicks. Hunsucker did showcase some quick hands and clipped Tuivasa pretty good, but “Bam Bam” ate it up and fired back. He landed two massive right hands that put Hunsucker in serious trouble. Tuivasa moved in for some heavy ground-and-pound and the eventual TKO stoppage.

This performance gives Tuivasa his first UFC win streak since 2018 and another knockout finish to add to his growing highlight reel. “Bam Bam” offered to stick around in Vegas to land another fight before flying back home so we’ll see if UFC gives him a quick turnaround. It wouldn’t be surprising if they did, and matched Tuivasa up against a top 15 opponent.
