Tanner Boser gave fight fans their first knockout finish earlier tonight (Sat., June 27, 2020) at UFC on ESPN 12 live on ESPN/ESPN+ from inside UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, when the Canadian prospect stopped veteran Philipe Lins via strikes midway through the first round.
Boser looked tremendous in this fight as he came in about 10 pounds lighter than his last fight. The heavyweight prospect was able to mix things up with hard leg kicks to Lins’ lead leg and punches over the top. Boser was then able to connect on a nasty combination in the center of the cage that crumbled Lins and sent the Brazilian to the canvas. That’s when Boser landed one more crushing punch before the referee stepped in for the knockout stoppage.

With this performance, Boser gets back into the win column after dropping a decision to promising contender Ciryl Gane back in December and improves his overall UFC record to 2-1. The man known as “Bulldozer” was finally able to showcase his punching power and should land a nice bout later this summer.
