Tyson Nam gave fight fans exactly what they wanted to see earlier tonight (Sat., June 13, 2020) at UFC on ESPN 10 live on ESPN/ESPN+ from inside UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, when he scored his first UFC win with a vicious knockout finish over former GLORY kickboxer Zarrukh Adashev just 32 seconds into the first round.
Adashev came out firing in his Octagon debut and started to rush Nam with combinations. While throwing a follow-up leg kick Adashev left his chin wide open and Name took full advantage, finding a home with a nasty right-hand counter to the temple. Adashev fell to the canvas and Nam jumped on top for one final shot.

With this performance, Nam scores the biggest win of his 14-year professional career and proves that he belongs on the big stage. It’s funny that this knockout came one weight class higher than what the Hawaiian is used to, but maybe it will spark some prolonged success inside of the Octagon, whether at flyweight or bantamweight.
