Women’s MMA legend Cris Cyborg continued her dominance inside of the boxing ring earlier tonight (Sat., June 15, 2024) at Crypto Fight Night from inside Indigo at The O2 in London, England, stopping Aria Wild with a devastating second-round knockout.
Cyborg, who scored a first-round knockout her last time boxing this past January, came into Saturday’s main event a heavy betting favorite. The former UFC, Bellator, Strikeforce, and Invicta FC women’s featherweight champion had a significant experience advantage and has proven to be a master of knockout finishes. Wild didn’t stand much of a chance.
After Cyborg did work in the first round she pressured Wild along the ropes in the second. That’s when Cyborg delivered a massive right hand that caught Wild and dropped her to the canvas. Cyborg returned to her corner where she calmly waited for the fight to officially be waved off.
Cyborg took to social media after her victory to share footage of the knockout punch and throw some shade at women’s boxing great Claressa Shields, who actually just returned to MMA this past February with a split-decision win. Check out Cyborg’s post and video highlights below:

“4-0 and I’ve already got more KO’s than Claressa Shields who’s had about 100 boxing fights,” wrote Cyborg.
As Cyborg mentioned, she is now 4-0 inside of the boxing ring since turning pro back in September 2022. The 38-year-old veteran still has some dangerous hands and could make a real push in women’s boxing if she keeps this up. She’s also still competing in women’s MMA, most recently stopping Cat Zingano by knockout back in October 2023 to defend the Bellator women’s featherweight title.
