Mofos act like they forgot about … Chan Sung Jung.

The former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) 145-pound title challenger — better known as “Korean Zombie” — is expected to return to the Octagon following a more than two-year stint on the sidelines because of the South Korean government’s requirement of mandatory military service (and shoulder surgery).

MMA Fighting reports that Jung’s obligation to his country will have run its course around mid-October, leaving him the option to compete in late 2016 or sometime in the early part of 2017.

Jung, 29, was last seen challenging then-Featherweight champion Jose Aldo at UFC 163 in Aug. 2013, losing via technical knockout after suffering an apparent shoulder injury. His UFC record stands at 3-1, while his overall record sits at 13-4.
