Light heavyweights Krzysztof ‘The Polish Experiment’ Soszy?ski (26-11-1) and Igor “The Duke” Pokrajac (23-8) have agreed, for a second time, to meet at an upcoming Ultimate Fighting Championship event.

This time both will square off at the upcoming UFC 140 event in December, after having previously agreed to fight at UFC 131. The matchup didn’t materialize as Pokrajac was forced to pull out due to injury.

UFC 140 is scheduled to take place on December 10 at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

News of the bout was announced by UFC officials on the promotions website UFC.com on Thursday.

The UFC 131 bout was Soszynski’s last fight, where he eventually faced Mike Massenzio at the Vancouver, Canada event. Originally, ‘The Polish Experiment’ had agreed to meet Anthony Perosh but an injury forced ‘The Hippo’ out, and was then replaced by Pokrajac. ‘The Duke’ too pulled out due to injury and was eventually replaced by Massenzio.

Against Massenzio, Krzysztof earned a unanimous decision, allowing the Polish-Canadian fighter to build a two fight win streak. The other victory came against Goran Reljic at UFC 122, which was also by unanimous decision.

Pokrajac was last in action in March, before the injury, against Todd Brown at the UFC on Versus 4 show in Kentucky. The Croatian fighter earned a first round TKO win after pummeling Brown, who although saved by the bell, was unable to continue the fight in the second. The win put ‘The Duke’ back in the win column after suffering a decision loss to Stephan Bonnar at last December’s “TUF 14 Finale” event.
