With two losses in a row, Australian born middleweight Kyle ‘KO’ Noke (19-6-1) is looking to change things up by dropping to welterweight for his next fight.

Noke posted the news on his Facebook page on Tuesday, noting that he would be facing Charlie ‘The Spaniard’ Brenneman (15-4) at UFC 151 for that match at 170-lbs.

UFC 151 is expected to take place on September 1, 2012 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada and is headlined by a light heavyweight title match between UFC champ Jon Jones versus former Strikeforce champion Dan Henderson.

Noke has gone 3-2 in the Octagon competing at middleweight and will drop to 170-lbs for the first time in his career. ‘KO’ lost a decision to Andrew Craig last March in Australia as part of the UFC on FX 2 card. The other loss came at the hands of Ed Herman who used an inverted heel hook to submit Noke at UFC on Versus 5. Noke’s last win came in February 2011 with a first round submission over Chris Camozzi at UFC 127.

Brenneman is looking to get back into the win column after a first round submission loss to Erick Silva last month at UFC on FX 3. The defeat put ‘The Spaniard’ 1-2 over his last three Octagon appearances with a decision win over Daniel Roberts at UFC on FX 1 and a first round TKO loss to Anthony Johnson at UFC on Versus 6. Brenneman’s record with the UFC stands at 4-3 overall.
