Russian heavyweight Fedor Emelianenko earned his first victory in two years after defeating Jeff Monson in the main event of the M-1 Global: Fedor vs. Monson event on Sunday (Nov. 20, 2011). Fedor comments on his conservative performance noting that he learned his lesson after losing to Fabricio Werdum two summers ago. ‘The Last Emporer’ earned a unanimous decision over Monson, coming out relatively unscathed in the bout.
