A lightweight bout between UFC sophomores Tim ‘The Dirty Bird’ Means (17-3-1) and Justin ‘J-Bomb’ Salas (10-3) for this June’s upcoming UFC on FX 3 event in Florida.

The bout was officially confirmed by the Ultimate Fighting Championship on Friday at UFC.com.

UFC on FX: Johnson vs. McCall is expected to take place on June 8, 2012 at BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise, Florida. The event is headlined by a flyweight semi-final tournament rematch between Demetrious Johnson and Ian McCall.

Means is undefeated in ten straight matches and has won eight straight fights including winning the King of the Cage lightweight title. ‘The Dirty Bird’ made his UFC debut last February at the UFC on FUEL TV 1 event by winning a unanimous decision over Bernardo Magalhaes at the Omaha show.

Salas also made his Octagon debut in his last fight by winning a unanimous decision over Anton Kuivanen at the same UFC on FUEL TV 1 show. That win was ‘J-Bomb’s’ sixth straight victory who has won a toal of three matches by (T)KO, three by submission, and four by decision in his pro-career.
