Juan Archuleta vs. Jeremy Spoon
Archuleta is 20-1 in the red gloves and gray trunks out of Venice Beach, California. Spoon is 21-4 in the blue gloves and black trunks fighting out of Chickasha, Oklahoma. Our ref is Kerry Hatley.
Round 1: Spoon gets a takedown and feeds Archuleta some right hands from behind when he gets back up. Archuleta spins him around and drops levels, and he’s got Spoon’s back throwing knees. Spoon is taken down at 1:19 but quickly stands up. Both men reset to the center at 2:30. Spoon goes flying by Archuleta with a missed shot and Archuleta jumps on top of him on the ground. Archuleta tries to take Spoon’s back when he stands up. Knees and foot stomps for Archuleta. Spoon tries a spinning backfist. Spoon goes flying backward to avoid Archuleta’s power. Archuleta shoots in at 4:08 and gets behind Spoon. Spoon breaks free with half a minute left. 10-9 Archuleta.
Round 2: Spoon throws a head kick and gets met with a flurry. Archuleta misses with a spinning head kick but throws a good right and takes the back standing again. Spoon is taken down at 1:01 but scrambles back to his feet. Archuleta throws body shots and rights and lets Spoon get away so he can let his hands go. Body kick by Archuleta. Multiple combos as he comes into range. Archuleta hurts Spoon with a left and pounces on the ground. He pours on the pounding and Spoon just barely survives as Hatley looks in to see if he can move to defend himself. He’s still in danger though with over two minutes left. Spoon gets back up and still looks faded. Archuleta comes forward swinging. Spoon goes for a takedown and Archuleta spins out at 3:40. Spoon gets stung by a right hand. Archuleta tries a knee up the middle then goes back to his hands. Takedown by Archuleta at 4:10. Elbows and left hands until Spoon stands up weary at 4:33. Archuleta clubs him with a right hand and Spoon falls down as much as he’s taken down. 10-8 Archuleta.
Round 3: Glove tap opens our third and final round. Spoon throws a couple of kicks after covering up to avoid the combos. Archuleta lands a heavy overhand right and closes the distance before resetting at 0:54. Archuleta lands a body shot and a left and Spoon wilts. Archuleta gets on top in guard. Archuleta postures up then ends up letting Spoon back to his feet at the two minute mark. Spoon wrings out his left hand like it might be broken. Archuleta throws a body kick and Spoon doubles over to his knees. Archuleta takes him down again at 3:02. Archuleta postures up twice to drop a heavy elbow. One has split Spoon’s forehead. Spoon turns over and stands up, earning a warning to not grab the fence, a red print on the canvas from where his head just was. Archuleta throws a big right as Spoon gets out and goes down into side control with 30 seconds left. Spoon gets him into guard and survives the battle but has lost the war.
Final result: Juan Archuleta wins a 30-25, 30-26 and 30-26 unanimous decision.
Kristina Williams vs. Bruna Ellen
Ellen has the pink top, blue gloves, black trunks and a 4-1 record for this fight. Williams has the black tank top, black trunks, red gloves and 2-1 record coming into the cage. Ellen fights out of Sao Paolo, Brazil. Williams fights out of Edmond, Oklahoma. Our referee in charge of the contest is Mike Beltran.
Round 1: A respectful glove tap starts us off. They trade hands at 30 seconds. Ellen circles outside and backs off to avoid a high kick. Ellen is trying very hard to stay out of kicking range but one grazes her chin. Ellen can only run so far though as Williams doubles up on kicks to the head. Williams continues to let the kicks go low and high. Ellen closes the distance for an overhand right. Williams blasts Ellen with a right hook. Ellen keeps trying and failing to solve the range puzzle, but she does connect with a left hook. Ellen shoots for a takedown late in the round but can’t get it. 10-9 Williams.
Round 2: Williams lands a flurry of kicks at the 30 second mark. A left hook for Williams connects. Williams keeps walking Ellen down as she circles on the outside. Ellen goes for a clinch at 2:35 and gets the worst of it. You can see the redness swelling up on Ellen’s face while Williams looks almost untouched. Ellen tries a jumping knee and her chin gets touched. She checks a head kick with her shoulder, throws an overhand right, and finally gets a takedown at 3:57. Williams kicks her off and stands up at 4:20. Left high head kick for Williams. 10-9 Williams.
Round 3: Williams lands a nice body kick, Ellen shoots in responds but can’t get her to the ground. Ellen is warned not to grab the fence as she keeps digging and throws a knee at Williams’ knee. She tries to push Williams across the cage but can’t get her down and both ladies trade knees, then body shots. Beltran tells them to do more work. Three minutes remain. Williams breaks free at 2:08. Right hooks lands for Williams. Ellen misses wildly with a head kick. Williams to the body with a kick. Combo by Williams to the jaw. Ellen’s mouth is bloody. Williams takes Ellen to the ground and lets her back up at 3:20. Ellen shoots at 4:03 but they’re stuck on the fence going nowhere. Williams breaks it at 4:22. They clinch at 4:44 and Ellen backs off from an exchange then clinches again, which is where it ends at the bell. 10-9 Williams.
Final result: The judges score it 29-28, 30-27 and 30-27 all for Kristina Williams.
Daniel Weichel vs. Goiti Yamauchi
Yamauchi has blue gloves, black trunks, a 22-4 record, and he fights out of Curitiba, Brazil. Weichel has red gloves, black trunks with gray trim, a 39-9 record, and he fights out of Frankfurt, Germany. Our referee in charge is Jerin Valel.
Round 1: Yamauchi takes the center and Weichel quickly circles. They trade leg kicks and Valel calls time to warn Yamauchi about potential eye pokes before the restart. Yamauchi continues to come forward throwing left hooks and Weichel throws a head kick in response. Another leg kick for Weichel. Weichel blasts Yamauchi with a right to the face and another at 1:43. Yamauchi tries to keep him at baby with kicks and then lands a solid left flush. The right hand with the outstretched fingers is the one that drew the warning for Yamauchi but he keeps on doing it. Weichel takes Yamauchi down and then pulls out of a kimura to get back to his feet. They clinch and break at 4:15. Head kick by Weichel before the bell. 10-9 Weichel.
Round 2: Yamauchi is warned again to keep his right hand closed when he reaches out and ignores the instruction within seconds. Weichel keeps kicking as Yamauchi comes forward and Yamauchi responds with two loud slapping kicks. Left hook by Weichel. Left head kick attempt by Yamauchi, and another. Yamauchi finally starts coming forward aggressively with 100 seconds left in the round. He puts a left on Weichel’s chin and Weichel charges forward. Weichel turns and Yamauchi tags him again. Body kick by Yamauchi. Weichel catches a kick and lands a hard kick of his own. 10-9 Yamauchi.
Round 3: Kicks are a flying for both men. Weichel tags Yamauchi with a straight right hand. They trade leg kicks and Weichel lands a right hook. Yamauchi puts a left foot on Weichel’s chin. Weichel breaks a clinch attempt at 2:01. He trips a leg but Yamauchi springs right back to his feet. Yamauchi clinches and tries to put Weichel on the fence but can’t keep him there for even a second. Weichel lands a right hand low and Valel calls time. After the restart Weichel goes for a takedown and Yamauchi grabs a headlock. Yamauchi spins to take the back but ends up on top in half. Weichel can’t shake him off and Yamauchi starts throwing lots of lefts. 10-9 Yamauchi.
Final result: The judges score it 30-27 Yamauchi, 30-27 Weichel, 29-28 for Yamauchi by split decision.
Chris Honeycutt vs. Costello Van Steenis
Black trunks and blue gloves, 10-1, fighting out of Rotterdam, Netherlands is Van Steenis. White trunks and red gloves, 11-2, fighting out of Fresno, California is Honeycutt. Our referee is Kerry Hatley.
Round 1: Van Steenis takes the center to start. Honeycutt shoots for a takedown at 47 seconds. Van Steenis does a good job of keeping his balance but finally Honeycutt picks him up and slams him down to the ground at 1:40. Van Steenis does a roll to get back to his feet 20 seconds later. Both men throw kicks to the body. Honeycutt throws a spin kick. Overhand right cracks Van Steenis. Leg kick in response. Body shot by Honeycutt. Spinning backfist misses for Van Steenis. Takedown by Honeycutt right to side control. Van Steenis stands back up and looks for his own takedown. He’s got it at 3:52. Honeycutt gets right back up. Van Steenis trips him to the ground and then jumps on Honeycutt’s back. He gets off and then goes for a flying knee that doesn’t land. Honeycutt takes him down with 20 seconds left. 10-9 Honeycutt.
Round 2: Honeycutt shoots so fast to open R2 you could blink and miss it. Van Steenis keeps putting a hand down to avoid being knees in the head as Honeycutt tries to latch on behind his knees and suck him in. He lets that go and decides to throw knees to the legs and body before finally getting the takedown. Van Steenis looks for a triangle but doesn’t have it and Honeycutt takes his back. Van Steenis covers up and then stands up. Van Steenis keeps playing the one hand grounded game to avoid big shots from the feet or knees, but Honeycutt can still let the hands and elbows go. Van Steenis is taking some heavy lefts and rights before Honeycutt climbs the back and gets both hooks in, but Honeycutt got on too high and Van Steenis slipped out and got a takedown of his own. Honeycutt gets right back up with 35 seconds left. Van Steenis gets a takedown at 4:41 but Honeycutt gets a reversal and throws more knees to the thigh. 10-9 Honeycutt.
Round 3: Both men are breathing hard to start the round. Van Steenis lands a couple of leg kicks and a left hand. Van Steenis lands a spin kick and some heavy leather and Honeycutt looks to clinch. Van Steenis gets the underhooks but lets go at 1:07 and knocks Honeycutt down with a left head kick. It was a second away from being stopped before Honeycutt moved to prevent a stoppage. He’s got a welt under his right eye and Van Steenis on top trying to posture up. Honeycutt escapes a leg lock attempt and both men stand back up. Honeycutt slams Van Steenis down at 2:22. Van Steenis stands up and tries to roll for a leg but Honeycutt blocks it with his right knee and it’s a stalemate. Honeycutt takes the back throwing left hands at the head. Van Steenis gets up with under a minute to go. Van Steenis gets a warning for grabbing the fence and gets taken down again. Honeycutt takes the back with hooks in. Van Steenis slips out and throws crazy strikes to the bell. 10-9 Van Steenis.

Joe Schilling vs. Will Morris
Schilling is 2-5 in MMA and Morris is 4-0 in said same. Morris sports the blue gloves, black trunks and fights out of Houston, Texas. Schilling sports the red gloves, white trimmed trunks and fights out of Los Angeles, California. Our referee in charge is Mike Beltran.
Round 1: Morris rushes toward Schilling to start the fight but it’s Schilling who winds up on top when it goes to the ground and who nails the kick when Morris stands back up. Schilling grabs the clinch and pushes Morris back before throwing a hard elbow. Schilling cracks Morris with a left elbow and traps Morris on the ground as Beltran warns Morris to defend himself. Morris is leaving a pool of blood all over his opponent’s legs and right next to the USO logo. Morris avoids a potential submission but Schilling stands him up to land a knee. Morris looks half drunk on his feet. Schilling keeps tagging him with elbows and uppercuts before going to a guillotine attempt. Schilling lets it go and Morris flops to his back to eat even more shots. 10-8 Schilling. Morris’ corner refuses to let him come back out for round two and this one is done.
Final result: Joe Schilling wins by TKO (corner stoppage) at 5:00 of round one.
Mike Shipman vs. Scott Futrell
Shipman is 12-1 in the red gloves and blue trunks, fighting out of London, England. Futrell is 10-6 in the blue gloves with black trunks, fighting out of St. Louis, Missouri. Jason Herzog is the referee.
Round 1: Shipman comes forward swinging at 19 seconds and then goes for a takedown, taking the back of Futrell in the process, then throwing knees as looks for a single leg, but Futrell is fending off the attempt well. Finally Shipman steps over the spread legs and slams Futrell down into side control. Shipman nearly had the mounted crucifix but Futrell was able to pull free. Futrell gets to his knees and back to his feet but Shipman keeps a front headlock and drags him right back down into a d’arce choke and taps him out.
Final result: Mike Shipman wins via first round submission (d’arce choke) at 2:58.

Anthony Ruiz vs. Jordan Young
Young is 9-0 in the red gloves and black trunks out of Coconut Creek, Florida, Ruiz is 34-22 in the blue gloves and black trunks with white trim out of Coarsegold, California, ages 24 and 41 respectively. Our referee is Jason Herzog.
Round 1: Ruiz presses Young toward the fence but Young turns it around and throws an elbow over the top and a couple of knees. Young backs up and grabs a clinch for a couple more knees. Ruiz tries to turn him but Young turns him right back. Young steps back at 1:06 and comes forward with a right and a knee up the middle. Ruiz eats a combo and he’s getting staggered. He tries to push Young to the fence but Young elbows him in the head as he drops levels. Herzog warns Young to keep the strikes clean. Young turns out and gets free at 2:40 then tags Ruiz with more shots and knees. Young sprawls and blocks a takedown, spins to the back and Ruiz covers up as Young throws tons of right hands. Young takes the back for a rear naked choke and Ruiz taps.
Final result: Jordan Young remains undefeated via rear naked choke at 3:48 in round one.
Joe Warren vs. Shawn Bunch
Shawn Bunch has the white trunks and blue gloves. Joe Warren has the black trunks and red gloves. Warren is 42, Bunch is 35, Warren has a 3” reach advantage at 69” to 66”. Bunch has a career record of 7-3 and fights out of San Jose, California. Warren has a career record of 15-7 and fights out of Monument, Colorado. Our referee in charge is Kerry Hatley.
Round 1: Bunch runs to the center to touch gloves with Warren as we get underway. Bunch is single minded in landing a right cross over and over. Bunch backs Warren up to the fence and starts landing combos and hurts Warren badly with a left that causes Warren to turn and physically surrender. It is ALL OVER. Warren is holding the left side of his neck and just said “I can’t feel my hands.” He’s still standing but that’s scary to hear from a fighter.
Final result: Verbal submission at 1:42 for the winner by TKO – Shawn Bunch.

Lahat missed weight for this fight, coming in at 148.4, while his opponent Moore made the one pound allowance at 145.4. Moore sports the blue gloves, fighting out of Wexford, Ireland with a record of 11-6. Lahat has the red gloves and fights out of Tel Aviv, Israel with a record of 12-4. Our referee in charge is Jerin Valel.
Round 1: Both men tap gloves at the opening bell and Moore is immediately pushing Lahat backward using his left jab. Lahat shaves his head with a kick then clinches to push Moore into the fence. Moore turns him around to throw knees. Lahat goes for a clinch to throw knees up the middle and Moore pulls away. They spar for a bit before Moore lands an uppercut and pushes Lahat back into the cage. Lahat pushes him away at 2:15 and throws a leg kick countered by a straight right. Lahat lands a right hook and shoots for a takedown, getting Moore to a knee at 3:03 before he stands back up. Moore turns him around. Moore pulls back at 3:36 then steps up to swing. Lahat tries for a single leg and can’t get it. Once again Moore turns Lahat around. Valel calls time as Lahat knees Moore in the cup. Lahat is given a stern warning before the restart and Moore drops Lahat with an uppercut to land some heavy ground and pound at the bell. 10-9 Moore.
Round 2: Lahat is stumbled with a counter left five seconds into R2 and Lahat shoots after getting stunned again to save himself from more damage. Lahat fails to get the takedown and gets turned around for some foot stomps. Blood is running down the right side of Lahat’s face. Moore steps back to the center looking to pick his shots. Moore swings wild with a hook and Lahat takes advantage to take Moore down to half guard. Moore gets back up at 2:14. Lahat tries a spinning back elbow that isn’t flush. Moore resets at 2:33. Lahat falls down on a leg kick. Moore connects with a right hook and body shot and Lahat starts attacking furiously. Another right hook for Moore after he breaks a back take. Lahat trips Moore to the ground with 90 seconds left and gets one hook in. He’s landing big elbows and heavy lefts from behind and winds up on top in half when Moore rolls to escape. Lahat keeps him grounded to the bell. 10-9 Lahat.
Round 3: Lahat pushes Moore to the fence eight seconds in and scores a quick takedown. Lahat keeps the left leg locked and lets the left hands flow to the body and the head. The elbows may eventually slice Moore as well if he keeps this up. Lahat is warned not to hit the back of the head. Moore tries and fails to get up at 2:10. All Moore can do in this situation is play defense and try to not take the heavier of Lahat’s blows, but he’s giving away the round and the fight in the process. Lahat’s left just keep on coming and to make matters worse for Moore he has one arm trapped behind his back. Dominant round for Lahat – 10-9 bordering on a 10-8.
