Bellator 268: “Nemkov vs Anglickas” is set to air TONIGHT (Sat., Oct. 16, 2021) from inside Footprint Center in Phoenix, Ariz., which will be headlined by a Light Heavyweight title fight between Vadim Nemkov and Julia Anglickas. Co-headlining the event will be Ryan Bader taking on Corey Anderson in another pivotal 205-pound showdown. The two featured bouts are also the final semifinal fights in the Light Heavyweight Grand Prix that will determine who moves on to the finale, which will award the winner a whopping $1 million payout.

Bellator 268’s main card will air on Showtime at 10 p.m. ET. MMAmania.com will deliver results for the full card and comprehensive play-by-play for the televised portion of Bellator 268 below.

BELLATOR 268 PLAY-BY-PLAY

Vadim Nemkov vs. Julius Anglickas

Round 1: They exchange strikes early and there is an eye poke. A halt to the action so Nemkov can recover. Nice right hand from Nemkov lands flush. Anglickas tags Nemkov with a sold right hand that drops him! He recovers and Nemkov goes in for the takedown and he gets it. Nemkov in half guard. Nemkov is landing some hard shots but Anglickas is out of danger for the moment. He gets back to his feet. Stiff jab lands for Nemkov. Jab to the body from Nemkov. Nemkov is cut above his left eye. Solid overhand right from Nemkov. Big left hand from Nemkov lands to finish out the round strong. 10-9 Anglickas

Round 2: Nemkov lands a solid jab, Anglickas returns fire. High kick lands for Nemkov. High kick, then a low kick from Nemkov. Anglickas clinches and Nemkov takes him down. Nemkov in half guard again and raining down punches, as well as his blood. It was an unintentional clash of heads that busted Nemkov open. Nemkov piling on the punishment and Anglickas simply has no answer at the moment. Nemkov is absolutely smothering his foe and the referee keeping a close eye on the action. One shot after another with 20 seconds remaining. Mike Beltran close to stepping in and Anglickas survives. 10-9 Nemkov

Round 3: Stiff jab from Nemkov. Nemkov attempts another takedown and he gets it. He is now in side control. Now in half guard. This is not a good position for Anglickas, who is not himself cut. Nemkov looking for a kimura. Now looking for an armbar. He has it. Anglickas is in trouble. He escapes. Anglickas is now in side control and they are back up to their feet. Nemkov takes Anglickas’ back and he takes him back down. Nemkov looking for the armbar again. Big elbows from Nemkov. Nemkov again locks in an armbar. He is determined to sink it in. It won’t happen this round, however. 10-9 Nemkov

Round 4: Nemkov scores another early takedown. Anglickas has no answer for the wrestling. Nemkov staying busy, obviously looking for a statement finish. Anglickas is still hanging tough, though. Nemkov now has Anglickas in a tough position, eating shots that he can not defend. Nemkov looking for an Americana, lets it go. Anglickas looks exhausted. Nemkov looking for an armlock, now a kimura and he has it. Anglickas taps, but put in a valiant effort against the world champion.

Final Result: Nemkov def. Anglickas via fourth round submission


Ryan Bader vs. Corey Anderson

Round 1: Bader takes the center of the cage quickly. Big shot from Anderson and he drops Bader early. He swarms and starts unloading massive shots. One after another. And it’s over. The referee steps in and puts an end to the fight in under a minute. WOW!!!

Final Result: Anderson def. Bader via first round technical knockout


Benson Henderson vs. Brent Primus

Round 1: Both men come out fast to the center of the cage. High kick from Henderson lands. Primus catches a low kick and pushes him against the cage. Primus separates and lands a left hand on his way out. Henderson stuns Primus with a stiff jab momentarily. Primus starts unloading shot after shot on Henderson while he’s up against the cage. He was in trouble momentarily but Henderson escapes danger. They clinch and Primus has a guillotine attempt. They go to the ground and Primus is looking for a kimura. Henderson is defending well but the referee is looking closely. Henderson out that danger but Primus now has a triangle attempt. He goes for the kimura again and Henderson escapes. He goes on the offensive and pushes Primus up against the cage. Nice upward elbow from Henderson. Very close round. 10-9 Primus

Round 2: Henderson starting to work his kicks. Primus returns fire with a kick to the body. Nice one-two combination from “Smooth.” Henderson again with another high kick. Stiff right hand from Primus lands. Nice leg kick lands flush for Henderson. Clean left from Henderson, who then goes to the body. Another high kick lands for Henderson. Nice knee inside from Henderson. Primus shoots but Henderson stuffs the takedown attempt. They seprate. Up against the cage and Primus takes Henderson’s back. He is looking for a rear-naked choke. Henderson defending well. Primus is now all over Henderson’s back, who is now in full standing position. There isn’t much going on here. Henderson ties up the fight. 10-9 Henderson

Round 3: Henderson with another high kick. And Henderson drops Primus, who jumps right back up. Henderson tries to land a knee to the body and Primus grabs a hold of it. Henderson now has a guillotine but Primus escapes. They get back up to the feet before clinching again and Primus now has a guillotine. Henderson escapes. Primus in side control, now in half guard. Primus now looking for a rear-naked choke. He’s working hard for it while “Smooth” is trying to survive. Two minutes remain. Primus isn’t letting his position go and Henderson needs to do something big to escape with a win. Primus seems content with letting the round come to an end with this position. Primus starts landing shots and it looks like Henderson is okay with letting him. Again they stand but Primus is all over Henderson’s back. Henderson attempts to get him off his back by slamming his body to the canvas to no avail. 10-9 Primus.

Final Result: Primus def. Henderson via unanimous decision


Henry Corrales vs. Vladyslav Parubchenko

Round 1: Parubchenko scores an early take down. Corrales works his way up but Parubchenko has his back and slams him down again. Corrales works his way up again and he’s free of his foe’s grip. Uppercut from Parubchenko. They exchange in the center of the cage, nothing solid lands for either man. Take down stuffed by Corrales. High kick from Corrales. Stiff left from Parubchenko stuns Corrales for a split second and Parubchenko pushes him up against the cage again. Left hand from Corrales. Parubchenko with an uppercut and Corrales fires back with a big left hand. Parubchenko pushes him up against the cage and lands some shots to close out the round. 10-9 Parubchenko

Round 2: Nice left hand from Parubchenko. Corrales with a stiff jab. They clinch for a moment. Double jab from Corrales. They clinch again. Corrales has Parubchenko’s back for a moment but he breaks away. Parubchenko really looking for that uppercut. Low kick form Corrales, Parubchenko catches it and pushes him up against the fence again. Nice one-two combo from Parubchenko but Corrales fires right back with a sneaky left hook. Parubchenko with a knee to the body, but Corrales always fires right back, never stalls for a second. Big left hook barely misses fro Corrales as the round comes to an end. 10-9 Corrales

Round 3: Low kick from Corrales. Nice left from Parubchenko whips Coralles’ head back. Parubchenko looking for the takedown again. A break in action after Parubchenko gets a poke in the eye. We resume action. Corrales drops Parubchenko with a big left hook and he pounces. He’s in guard now looking to inflict some damage with ground-and-pound. The crowd is pro Corrales. Parubchenko finds his way back up. Stiff right hand from Corrales. Right hand from Parubchenko. Another one-two punch combo lands for Corrales, he’s really letting his fists fly in the round and he’s owning it. Parubchenko willing to trade blows-for-blow, but Corrales is getting the better of the exchanges. Another one-two for Corrales lands. Huge left hand for Corrales lands. 10-9 Corrales

Final Result: Corrales def. Parubchenko via unanimous decision
