Before they step into the boxing ring this Sat. night (April 17, 2021) inside Mercedes-Benz Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, YouTube star Jake Paul and former UFC welterweight Ben Askren will talk up their pay-per-view (PPV) showdown with the combat sports media, LIVE in the embedded video player above at 11 a.m. ET.

“I don’t think Ben will be able to get near me,” Paul told MMA Junkie. “My distance control is 10 times better than his. And if he does, he’s going to get busted up on the inside. That’s one thing we really worked on in this camp is my inside fighting game. He can come in, but he’s going to get cracked. If he wants to hold me, he’s just going to be losing by points.”

Askren isn’t the only UFC export making headlines this weekend in “The Peach State.” Former UFC heavyweight kingpin Frank Mir makes his debut in the “sweet science” opposite former IBF cruiserweight champion Steve Cunningham.

The PPV live stream begins 9 p.m. ET on April 17 and costs $49.99 (stream it here).

Elsewhere on the card, former WBA super lightweight champion Regis Prograis collides with Ukrainian pugilist Ivan Redkach, while British nightclub owner Joe Fournier battles Colombian reggaeton musician Reykon.
