I hope you got your wagers in, as there’s no time left to place bets on whether or not former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight champion Jon Jones will get suspended by California State Athletic Commission (CSAC).

Seriously.

“Bones” pissed dirty prior to his title-winning performance at UFC 214 last July, and since the pay-per-view (PPV) fight card took place in “The Golden State,” CSAC was responsible for overseeing pre- and post-fight regulation, including drug tests.

So was United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA), but that’s a hearing for a later date.

Jones will appear before the commission today (Tues., Feb. 27, 2018) at 1 p.m. ET (10 a.m. PT) to answer for his infraction and could be facing a disciplinary suspension of up to one year (retroactive to July 29), as well a hefty fine.

To the tune of 40-percent of this payout.

Despite finishing Daniel Cormier in the third round of their championship headliner, Jones was subsequently stripped of his title and saw his win overturned to a “No Contest.” The “Bones” team insists the embattled pound-for-pound great did not intentionally cheat and expect to be exonerated in today’s hearing.

History is not on their side.

See you at 1 pm!
