Join us for live results of Japan’s New Year’s Eve special, RIZIN 49: “Decade.”

As 2024 comes to a close, Japan’s tradition of hosting big fights on New Year’s Eve continues, with RIZIN also celebrating their 10th year event with a stacked card. RIZIN 49: Decade starts TONIGHT (Dec. 30, 2024) and will go on well into Tuesday morning (December 31) with a deep card that features three championship bouts, and a whopping 22 fights overall.

RIZIN 49: Decade will stream LIVE on RIZIN.tv, starting at 11 p.m. ET, and will go on until the morning.

RIZIN champions Chihiro Suzuki, Kyoji Horiguchi and Roberto Satoshi Souza will top the card and each defend their titles against Kleber Koike, Nkazimulo Zulu and Vugar Karamov, respectively.

These new year’s events in Japan also typically add “freakshow” fights, but the biggest spectacle they had planned was scrapped as boxing star Ryan Garcia unfortunately had to pull out at the last minute. MMA legend Kazushi Sakuraba’s son Taisei Sakuraba will make his MMA debut on the card though, and will immediately be thrown into the deep end against a long-term contender.

RIZIN will also target mainstream audiences in Japan, dedicating a portion of the card to the reality show Breaking Down, where Mikuru Asakura’s team takes on Ren Hiramoto’s Black Rose. Rukiya Anpo, who was supposed to face Garcia, will now represent Mikuru’s team against the much larger K-1 champ Sina Karimian in a David vs. Goliath styled boxing match.

Join us for some late night fights, and follow along below as we bring you live results and video highlights from RIZIN’s NYE show.
