(March 30, 2019) live on ESPN from inside Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with select “Prelims” bouts on ESPN+. Leading the way is a main event clash between lightweight finishers Edson Barboza and Justin Gaethje. Barboza will be headlining just his second UFC event in nine years while this marks the fourth time in five fights “The Highlight” is serving as the main attraction. Also taking place at UFC Philadelphia is an important 115-pound showdown between former women’s strawweight title challenger, Karolina Kowalkiewicz, and top 115-pound striker, Michelle Waterson. If “Karatie Hottie” can get past “Polish Princess” and extend her current win streak to three, it may very well lead to her first UFC title shot.

Meerschaert clamps down on a guillotine and sweeps into mount, still squeezing. Holland survives, escapes a back take trying to stand. Meerschaert looks for a single-leg, eats body shots. Two minutes to go.

They stand, Meerschaert putting him on the fence and retaking the back. Punches by Meerschaert, looking for the RNC, He switches to a bulldog choke, only for Holland to pop his head out and threaten the RNC. Nasty elbows by Holland, who takes mount. Punches and elbows from Holland. Holland locks up the RNC, loses it, then slams Meerschaert with an elbow and hammerfist. 10-9 Holland.

Round 2: Meerschaert advancing, eats a right hand. Meerschaert catches a kick and takes him down on the fence. Holland stands, Meerschaert pressing him against the cage. Meerschaert tries to muscle him down from double underhooks as Holland thwaps his ears. Holland hits a nice granby roll and steps into half guard. Holland tries to lock up an anaconda choke, but surrenders half guard. Meerschaert wants an arm triangle. Two minutes in. Holland regains guard. Looking for upkicks. Two minutes to go.

Meerschaert avoids a triangle. Holland rolls to his knees and Meerschaert wants the back. Hollend ends up on top in the front headlock. Meerschaert drives through, avoiding a kimura. He takes the back. One minute to go. Meerschaert nearly locks up the choke, but Holland sweeps back into mount. He drops punches and elbows until the bell. 10-9 Meerschaert.

Round 3: Leg kick from Holland. Another one trips Meerschaert up. Front kick attempts. Hard left hook. Holland denies a takedown and tries a suplex. He drags Meerschaert down more conventionally against the fence. Meerschaert looks for a guillotine, pulling guard on it. Two minutes in. Borg briefly looks for a kimura, gives up his back against the fence. Both hooks in. Borg uses the fence to sweep to his feet and get back in on a takedown attempt. Borg digs a right to the body, takes a couple of elbows before slamming Kenney down. Kenney scrambles up and looks for his own takedown. One minute to go. Borg looks for the switch, gives up his back again. Kenney nearly in mount, gets swept into guard. Fun round. 10-9 Kenney.

Round 2: Borg on the advance, fires a 1-2 and ties up again. Body lock for Borg. He changes levels, transitions to a high crotch grip. Nearly gets Kenney down a minute in. He transitions to a double-leg, then a rear waist lock. Kenney reverses and looks for a double-leg. Borg reverses in turn, taking knees. Elbows from Kenney.
