Liz Carmouche will welcome a UFC rookie to the Octagon on July 27.

Carmouche will meet Jessica Andrade at UFC on FOX 8 after Miesha Tate, her original opponent, replaced the injured Cat Zingano against Ronda Rousey earlier this week, MMAFighting.com confirmed with sources close to the fight. The bout is still expected to be a part of the main card on FOX, making it the first female fight to air on the broadcast network.
The UFC is expected to officially announce the fight in the coming days.

Andrade (9-2) enters the bout riding a two-fight winning streak. All nine of the 21-year-old Brazilian’s wins have been finishes.

Carmouche (8-3) lost to Rousey in the first women’s bout in UFC history back in February at UFC 157. The loss snapped her own two-fight winning streak.

UFC on FOX 8, headlined by Demetrious Johnson vs. John Moraga, will take place at KeyArena in Seattle.
