Aspen Ladd wants to fight, and it doesn’t sound like she’s willing to wait around for Macy Chiasson to recover from her injury — one severe enough to boot her from the UFC Vegas 32 event on Sat. night (July 24) at APEX in Las Vegas.

While it’s too soon to save this weekend’s co-main event, it would still require Tate to make a fairly quick turnaround after her UFC Vegas 31 victory over bantamweight bruiser Marion Reneau earlier this month in “Sin City,” the first appearance for “Cupcake” since hastily retiring back in late 2016.

“Macy Chiasson has pulled out on weigh-in Eve,” Ladd wrote on social media. “This absolutely blows. Who wants to see me fight Miesha Tate?”

I can understand why Ladd has ants in her pants. Fight fans haven’t seen the contending bantamweight since her technical knockout win over Yana Kunitskaya back in late 2019 (thanks to this), her third finish in four wins under the UFC banner.

Tate has yet to respond to the challenge.

UFC Vegas 32 will soldier on with the bantamweight headliner between Cory Sandhagen and TJ Dillashaw. Elsewhere on the card, Miranda Maverick and Maycee Barber collide in flyweight action while Mickey Gall and Jordan Williams go to war at 170 pounds.
