UFC 145 is expected to take palce on March 24, 2012 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec.
Danzig is 1-2 in his last three fights and in fact is just 2-5 in his last seven Octagon appearances. His last fight took place in October at UFC on Versus 6, which saw him lose a unanimous decision to Matt Wiman in the “Fight of the Night” bout. That was his second loss to Wiman in just three fights. The other match, a “Knockout of the Night” victory over Joe Stevenson, took place in December 2010 at UFC 124.
Escudero returned to the UFC after a six fight absence just last weekend, losing to Jacob Volkmann via unanimous decision at the UFC 141 event. The loss ended a two fight win streak and also saw Escudero go 5-1 in his six bouts outside of the Octagon. His last fight outside the UFC took place this October at Bellator 55, with Escudero winning a first round submission win over Cesar Avila.
