Conor McGregor was having serious problems with his leg and ankle ahead of UFC 264, which may have contributed to the broken bones he suffered in the opening round of his Dustin Poirier trilogy back on July 10 in Las Vegas.

And now he’s got the photos to prove it.

“All you pull out merchants wouldn’t last 13 seconds in my world,” McGregor wrote on Twitter. “My four-part Netflix docuseries coming soon has the entire [behind the scenes]. I’m gonna title it ‘Mad Mac’s: Fury Road.’ Wouldn’t change my journey for no one! The greatest of all time!”

Have a look:

“I had multiple stress fractures in the shin bone above the ankle, and then I had trouble with the ankle anyway throughout the years of fighting all the time,” McGregor said (read his full explanation here). “And I also was wrapping my ankle every training session.”

The 22-6 McGregor, who turned 33 earlier this week, wants last weekend’s “Diamond” loss — ruled a technical knockout as a result of doctor’s stoppage — to be changed to a “No Contest” due to accidental injury.

“Notorious” is expected to be scooter-bound for the next six weeks but could make his return to the cage in mid-to-late 2022.
