I would say this is getting ugly but yeah … we left ugly at the curb several posts back.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is searching for someone to fight Neil Magny at the upcoming UFC Fight Night 130 mixed martial arts (MMA) event on May 27 in Liverpool, England, after original opponent, Gunnar Nelson, was felled by injury.

Longtime welterweight veteran Jorge Masvidal offered to step in on short notice if the promotion was willing to make a 180-pound catchweight. Instead, UFC declined and went hunting for a new combatant able to make the contracted weight.

Masvidal interpreted that as vaginitis and promptly called out Magny for being a “bitch” who was too scared to fight. Considering Magny already fought the likes of Hector Lombard, Johny Hendricks, and Demian Maia, just to name a few, it’s hard to imagine he’s scared of “Gamebred.”

“I’ll gladly fight him at any weight 170 up,” Magny wrote on Twitter. “Truth is he’s an unprofessional slob who is unable to make weight on four weeks notice and the UFC said no.”

No word yet on who the promotion has in mind for a replacement, but the clock is certainly ticking. To see who else is fighting later this month in Liverpool click here.
