Manvel Gamburyan
A pair of featherweights were announced as opponents for the Ultimate Fighting Championships first show on the soon-to-be-launched Fox Sports 1 channel. Squaring off in Boston is former WEC title challenger Manvel Gamburyan (12-7) and UFC vet Cole Miller (19-7).
The bout was announced on Twitter (@UFC) late Tuesday night.

UFC on Fox Sports 1: Shogun vs. Sonnen is expected to take place on August 17, 2013 at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. Headlining will be former UFC champ Mauricio ‘Shogun’ Rua vs. Chael Sonnen.
Gamburyan ended a three fight losing skid by winning a unanimous decision in August of last year at UFC on FOX 4 against Michihiro Omigawa. Gamburyan had been scheduled to compete at UFC 157 and UFC on FX 8 but was forced off both cards due to injury.
Miller won for the first time in three matches by submitting Bart Palaszewski at the TUF 17 Finale this past April. The win was Miller’s first since returning to 145-lbs going 1-2 with losses to Nam Phan and Steven Siler.
