Ahead of their Octagon meeting in the co-main event of the landmark UFC 200 pay-per-view event scheduled for next Saturday in Las Vegas, Mark Hunt continues to make the media rounds to promote his highly-anticipated showdown with former UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar.

Hunt recently appeared as a guest on Ariel Helwani’s “The MMA Hour” at MMAFighting.com and spoke about Lesnar receiving an exemption from USADA that allowed him to bypass the same rules that any other retired fighter would have had to go through. As Hunt points out, however, he feels it’s good that Lesnar is at least being tested leading up to their fight.

“He’s getting tested now, so I think that’s the main thing. In the end, I think everyone should be treated fairly. If you’re getting tested, everyone should be tested. But like you probably said, he wasn’t part of us when USADA came. But I still think he should be tested. I mean, he’s probably being tested now, but I think everyone should have the same playing field.”

When asked about the actual game plan for his bout with Lesnar, “The Super Samoan” made it clear that he would like to score a knockout.

“I don’t know, to be honest,” Hunt said. “I mean, I’m hoping he comes in like a crazy man and then I put him to sleep. That’s basically what I hope is going to happen. But I don’t think he’s that stupid. I think he’s going to be a bit smarter and test the waters first, but we’ll see what happens on the night.”

The Hunt-Lesnar bout serves as the co-main event underneath Daniel Cormier vs. Jon Jones 2 for the UFC Light Heavyweight Title. UFC 200 takes place on Saturday, July 9, 2016 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
