Jorge Masvidal doesn’t want the name Conor McGregor mentioned to him in any manner moving forward. That’s because Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) president, Dana White, has already proclaimed “Gamebred” to be too big for “Notorious.”

Plus, the promotion doesn’t want to deal with any murder charges.

“The man right here already said I am too much man for him. So don’t bring that dude up anymore in my interviews,” said Jorge during today’s (Thurs., Sept. 19, 2019) pre-fight press conference in “The Big Apple.”

“He (Dana White) already said it himself, so that fight is not available.”

So should Jorge defeat Nate Diaz at the upcoming UFC 244 pay-per-view (PPV) event on Nov. 2, 2019 inside Madison Square Garden in New York City, N.Y., he’s gunning for a championship fight, instead (no, not this one).

“What I am going to wait for is for those two sissies to clear it out of who is going to fight. If God gives me the victory on Nov. 2, I want to take everybody’s head who’s attached to a belt.”

The two “sissies” he’s referring to is current Welterweight king, Kamaru Usman, and former interim title holder, Colby Covington. The two men were in line to headline UFC 244, but when talks fell through due to money demands on the part of Colby, the promotion opted to book the “BMF” title fight, instead.

If Masvidal has his way, he will be gunning for either one of them and anyone else who carries a UFC title.

“Somebody says they have a belt, I’m coming for it. And if it’s either one of those two sissies, then they are going to get it.”

First things first, Masvidal must try and defeat Diaz, who called him out shortly after his win over Anthony Pettis at UFC 241. If he manages to do that, not only will he have possibly have “The Rock” present him the title, earn himself a championship fight, but he could be in line for “Fighter of the Year.”
