After getting submitted by Charles Oliveira last night (Sat., Mar. 14, 2020) at UFC Fight Night 170 live on ESPN+ from inside Nilson Nelson Gymnasium in Brasilia, Brazil, lightweight contender Kevin Lee now has to recover from yet another high-profile loss.

In addition to becoming Oliveira’s record 14th submission victim inside of the Octagon, “Motown Phenom” has also landed on Jorge Masvidal’s chopping block.

Why? Well, “Gamebred” didn’t enjoy watching Lee try to wrestle Oliveira after the referee stepped in and stopped the fight. Lee probably didn’t know where he was after getting choked so it’s hard to blame him for his actions, but Masvidal still wanted to add insult to injury via social media.

“You should be cut for this bitch move. Tap and try to continue? One of the lowest things you can do hoe ass bitch,” wrote Masvidal via Twitter.

“Gamebred” followed those comments up with a dig at Lee’s failed weight cut for UFC Brasilia.

“First bitch move: misss weight. Second bitch move: tap and try to continue. Disrespectful to the sport and that’s the lowest thing you can do,” added Masvidal in another tweet.

It’s difficult to side with Masvidal about Lee’s post-choke antics, but we can agree “Motown Phenom” should have hit weight for his fifth UFC main event bid. That said, the entire world has been battling the growing effects of the coronavirus pandemic lately so maybe Lee gets a pass just this once.

Last time Lee lost a lightweight main event he ended up packing his bags and moving up to 170 pounds. If “Motown Phenom” pushes that button once again he could have the chance to fight his way towards a grudge match with the ”Baddest Motherf—ker.’
