UFC Fight Night 154 took place last night (Sat., June 22, 2019) inside Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina, which saw Chan Sung Jung take out Renato Moicano in just 58 seconds (highlights). In addition, Andrea Lee defeated Montana De La Rosa to score her seventh-straight win while rising heavyweight prospect Jairzinho Rozenstruik finished Allen Crowder in just nine seconds.

Winner: Chan Sung Jung

Who He Should Face Next: Jeremy Stephens

Stephens has dropped two in a row, but still holds a top 10 ranking while Jung is currently sitting outside of it. As long as both men have competed inside the Octagon it’s hard to believe their paths have yet to cross. But that can all change soon, as I really like a showdown between these two strikers.

Jung has looked good over his last three outings, coming in at 2-1. Despite Jeremy’s losing streak, he is still a threat and can be a tough test for Jung. Stephens needs a big win to get back into the mix, and a win over “The Korean Zombie” could be just what the doctor ordered. For Jung, a win over “Lil Heathen” would be another impressive notch on his belt. If the matchmakers don’t book this next, they’re missing out.

Winner: Randy Brown

Who He Should Fight Next: Michel Prazeres

Brown picked up a much-needed win by defeating Bryan Barberena in Greenville to move to 5-3 in his UFC career. Consistency, though, has been an issue for Brown, who has only been able to score back-to-back wins once in his Octagon career. I’d like to see him face off against Michel Prazeres next. While he came up short in his last fight, Michel is as tough as they come, winning eight straight inside the Octagon before running into Ismail Naurdiev back in February.

Prior to that, his only losses ever came to Kevin Lee and Paulo Thiago. While he may not carry the name value, a win over him could give Brown a good boost. On the flip side, a win for Michel would be a good way to get back in the win column and on the welterweight radar.

Winner: Andre Ewell

Who He Should Fight Next: Mike Grundy

Ewell picked up his second win inside the Octagon by taking out Anderson dos Santos to go 2-1 so far in his UFC career. Up next for him should be a fight against Mike Grundy. While the name may not ring a lot of bells, Grundy had a successful Octagon debut a few months back by knocking out Nad Narimani. He is currently riding a nine-fight win streak and would prove to be a tough test for Ewell. The pickings are slim for both men at the moment, as top 10 foes aren’t in their futures just yet.

Winner: Andrea Lee

Who She Should Fight Next: Winner of Jennifer Maia vs. Roxanne Modafferi

“KGB” proved she is as good as advertised by defeating top contender Montana De La Rosa to earn her seventh-straight win, third inside the eight-sided cage. While she wasn’t too pleased with her performance, she did enough to get the nod on the judges’ scorecards, moving up the ladder a bit more. On July 20, Maia and Modafferi will hook them up one more time, and I’d like to see Lee get the winner. “KGB” has the potential to make some major noise, but she first must start taking out top 10 competition. Either of these two ladies fits the bill.
