Former UFC fighter Jason Miller finds himself in yet more legal problems.

According to FOX 11 Los Angeles, Jason ‘Mayhem’ Miller is facing a new set of criminal charges. That outlet stated that the 39-year-old former fighter has plead not guilty to first-degree burglary, unlawful taking of a vehicle and grand theft auto. Miller is being held without bail pending a pretrial hearing scheduled for September 2 in Newport Beach, CA.

Miller, who was arrested by the Irvine Police Department on Friday evening, is currently serving probation in relation to a domestic violence case.

This is not the first, second or third time Miller has been in trouble with the law.

In July 2019 he plead guilty to felony vandalism and misdemeanor violation of a protective stay-away order. For those crimes he was sentenced to a year in jail and three years of probation.

Miller was charged with those offenses after he smashed a table, removed doors, and punched holes in the walls of his girlfriend’s home in La Habra. In 2017 Miller plead guilty to beating that same girlfriend and was sentenced to 124 days in jail.

In January 2018 Miller was arrested after he was found in possession of a bulletproof vest, nunchucks, various knives, a machete, an axe, a samurai sword and replica assault weapons. He was also found in possession of human growth hormone and other performance-enhancing drugs, which were obtained without a prescription.

In 2017 Miller was accused of domestic violence by a separate woman, but those charges were eventually dropped.

In 2016 Miller was accused of grabbing a woman at shopping mall in Costa Mesa, while being heavily intoxicated. In that year he was also accused on vandalizing a tattoo parlour in Lake Forest.

In 2015 he threw a ceramic tile at Sheriff’s deputies and threatened them with a large fire extinguisher until he was eventually tasered. Also that year he kicked a police officer and spat at another officer during an incident at a restaurant in Laguna Beach.

In 2014 Miller live-streamed a stand-off with police at his Mission Viejo home. The police were there to carry out an arrest warrant for Miller.

Miller’s last MMA contest was with Italian promotion Venator in 2016. In his sole fight with that promotion he lost via submission to Mattia Schiavolin. That was Miller’s first fight since being cut from the UFC in 2012.

Miller fought three times in the Octagon. The first time was against Georges St-Pierre at UFC 52 in 2005. St-Pierre won that bout by unanimous decision. Miller didn’t appear again for the UFC until the The Ultimate Fighter 14 Finale in 2011. There he lost to Michael Bisping by TKO, who had been his opposing coach on that season of TUF. His final UFC fight was a unanimous decision loss to C.B. Dolloway.

Outside of the UFC Miller appeared in the Dream, Strikeforce, and WEC promotions. He holds notable victories over Kazushi Sakuraba, Tim Kennedy and Robbie Lawler.
