Conor McGregor made Floyd Mayweather a lot of money (at least $100 million) when they fought each other back in 2017, and now “The Notorious” has made “Money” more in defeat at UFC 264. It’s no $275 million check, which is what Mayweather reportedly made off his tenth round finish of the then-double champ of Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

But, a $50,000 bet on Dustin Poirier netted Mayweather a very respectable $35,714 (at -140 odds).

Poirier defeated McGregor in the first round of their rubber match fight, although it wasn’t the cleanest win. After pummeling McGregor for half of the fight, the two separated with 10 seconds left. McGregor stood up and started swinging, and suddenly his ankle rolled over on itself and broke (see it). The fight was still officially ruled a technical knockout (doctor stoppage) win for Poirier (watch highlights here).

“Dustin Poirier, thanks for getting me paid!” Mayweather crowed on social media.

Mayweather and McGregor have continued to go back-and-forth both online and in real life since their big money bout, with McGregor insisting he’d win a rematch and Mayweather claiming he carried McGregor so said rematch would be a more lucrative endeavor.

Most recently, McGregor called out Mayweather for boxing Logan Paul, saying it was a bad look for the retired boxing champ.

“It’s embarrassing! Pro to pro it’s embarrassing.” McGregor wrote on Instagram. “Whatever way you spin this, it’s sad. Fight someone for real, on your record, or f—k off mate. Slap head!”

We have a feeling Floyd Mayweather is laughing all the way to the bank right now.
