Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov respond to Joe Rogan’s recent Instagram post.

Joe Rogan’s recent Instagram post hyping the upcoming lightweight title bout between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Justin Gaethje has caught the attention of two of the biggest stars in the sport.

Rogan, who ‘can’t f-cking wait’ for UFC 254, labelled Khabib the lightweight GOAT and hailed Gaethje Nurmagomedov’s ‘most dangerous challenger’ to date.

“It would be impossible for me to be more excited about this fight. The return of the GOAT lightweight king, @khabib_nurmagomedov vs his most dangerous challenger, @justin_gaethje.I CAN’T FUCKING WAIT,” Rogan posted on Wednesday.

His post prompted former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion Conor McGregor to leave the following comment.

”Chill bro i’d a hangover,” McGregor commented.

McGregor’s comment seemed to prompt Nurmagomedov to leave a message of his own.

“October – Justin and April – GSP,” Khabib said, hinting of a final showdown with Georges St-Pierre after he defends his lightweight title against Gaethje.

‘The Eagle’ is scheduled to take on ‘The Highlight’ in a headlining title unification bout at UFC 254 on Oct. 24, while McGregor, 32, is currently retired.
