“You can’t put steroids on your chin!”
Short and simple.
UFC Featherweight Champion Conor McGregor spoke with his official website, TheMacLife.com regarding his former opponent, Chad Mendes, being suspended for two years for testing positive for banned substances ahead of his fight with Frankie Edgar at the TUF 22 Finale event.
McGregor, who fought Mendes in his previous fight before Edgar, knocking out the multiple-time title contender in their interim Featherweight title fight, stated the following about Mendes’ USADA issues:
“I wonder was he on that stuff when we fought. One thing I know for sure though, you can’t put steroids on your chin!”
McGregor makes his Octagon return against Nate Diaz, fighting the Stockton native in an immediate 170-pound rematch in the main event of UFC 202 on Saturday, August 20, 2016 from the brand new T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
