As noted, UFC Champions Tyron Woodley and Conor McGregor were involved in a bit of a confrontation at the official morning weigh-ins for UFC 205 on Friday morning (watch the video here).
Following the incident, both “The Chosen One” and “The Notorious” have been going back-and-forth on social media. Below are some of the latest tweets that Woodley and McGregor have written about the incident, including some tweets that were sent directly to each other.
Additionally, Woodley provided some information regarding their brief confrontation this morning in a new video interview with MMAFighting.com writer/personality Ariel Helwani. For those who missed that, you can watch the complete video interview here.
McGregor looks to make history by becoming UFC’s first simaltaneous two-division World Champion when he fights reigning UFC Lightweight Champion Eddie Alvarez with the 155-pound title on-the-line in the main event of Saturday night’s UFC 205 pay-per-view. In the co-main event, Woodley will look to make the first defense of his 170-pound title against number one contender Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson.
