If Kevin Ferguson is going to have an autopsy, his family is going to have to foot the bill.

That’s because the recent passing of “Kimbo Slice,” which was attributed to heart failure, according to initial reports, was not deemed to be suspicious after a review by local authorities.

“We were informed of his death and after review of the circumstances, we declined jurisdiction. Broward County Medical Examiner told TMZ. “It is not a medical examiner case. “No medical legal investigation, including toxicology is necessary.”

A toxicology exam may have helped determine what role this played, if any.

Slice died on Monday night just a few weeks ahead of his Bellator 158 return in London, England, where the former YouTube star was set to rematch James Thompson. Despite a strong start, “Colossus” was eventually stopped in their first go round under the EliteXC banner way back in 2008.
